Introduction to Food Preservation

Want to learn how to preserve your own food? Not sure where to start?

This two hour class covers the basics of several types of preserving, including dehydrating, canning, freeze drying, freezing, and vacuum sealing.

This classes teaches from safe and trusted sources so you can make educated decisions about preserving food for your family.

Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm.

This class is held at GTCPS Community Center, 148 South Milton Street, Smithville, Ohio.
