This program is hosted in partnership with wildHERness and led by Missouri Master Naturalist, Amy Rush Howard, who will guide participants on a medium-level hike while sharing helpful tips for building confidence and comfort on the trail.

The hike will take place on the Lake Remote Trail at Smith’s Fork Park, meeting at the Smithville Lake Spillway at 9:00 AM. The program will last approximately 1–1.5 hours. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and are encouraged to bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen if needed. This hike is for women ages 16 and older, and spots are limited. Pre-registration is required and registration will not be available on-site. A wildHERness waiver will need to be signed in person before participating.
