Adopt -A-Wreath: Honor the Past, Preserve our History

Join us in supporting the restoration of the historic section of the Smithtown Cemetery, where generations of loved ones, veterans, and local pioneers have been laid to rest.

This Christmas Season we invite you to adopt a beautiful wreath with a red bow for just $39.99 to be placed either in the cemetery's historic section, or if you would prefer, to be purchase for your loved one's grave.

Please join us at the Smithtown Cemetery on Saturday, December 6th, between 8:30 a.m. - noon. During this time, you'll be able to pick up your paid wreath and personally place it, creating a meaningful holiday tribute while supporting the preservation of our community's history.

Your purchase is more than a decoration - It's a tribute to our shared history. All proceeds will go directly towards cleaning and restoring gravestones, resetting historic markers, preserving the legacy of Smithtown's earliest residents.

Adopting a Wreath may also be done in honor or memory of a loved one. We'll include a small tag on your donated wreath with wording such as: "In memory of ... ", "Donated by ... ", or "With love from the (Family name) ... ". A meaningful way to celebrate the season, give back to the community, and preserve our history.
