- **Event Description**: The primary purpose of this event is to support young entrepreneurs and develop future
leaders through experiential learning. This is our second event; it aims to bring together
our young people and communities in a fun and unique way.
Our kids will be challenged to collaborate, create/market their products/services, handle
money, talk to customers, ultimately fostering small business growth mindset and spirit of
entrepreneurship.
Vendor participants must be 18 and under- enrolled in public/private or home-school; if
18-22- must be enrolled in college. Minimum age to participate is 6.
Vendors are required to pre-register - but ALL table spaces are FREE thanks to the
generosity of Smithsburg Valley Church to share their space with our young people.
If you have multiple children that want to register- please fill out a registration form for each child/business.
We do have some tables available- but those that can bring their own table are encouraged
to do so. Please note if you will be bringing your own table below.
WIFI may be available- but not guaranteed- please plan appropriately.
Each vendor is responsible for following applicable local/state laws- i.e. cottage, tax, etc.
(as required- which typically is not for an event like this- I just like to note it as an
opportunity for parents to have that discussion with their children- as they begin
venturing into the entrepreneur/business world).
Set up will be available day of - starting at 8am.
All children will need to have a parent/guardian on site at all times during the event.
Please consider providing a raffle prize to incentivize visitors to your booth (this is not a
requirement- only a suggestion to help with foot traffic)
