For one unforgettable day, the downtown core transforms into a vibrant outdoor art gallery featuring over 25 talented artists, 3 live musical performances, and an epic live chalk art installation by Francois Pelletier. Watch creativity unfold in real time as artists paint, perform, and engage throughout the community.

This year, we are proud to partner with Heritage House Museum, host of the En Plein Air Rideau Artist of the Year competition. Stroll through town and witness artists bringing their canvases to life before your eyes. Your ticket to The Big Art Walk includes:
• A reusable cloth tote bag featuring artwork from this year’s banner artists
• 3 greeting cards showcasing local art
• 2 complimentary refreshments
• Entry into the Grand Prize draw valued at $500

Registration takes place at Town Hall (77 Beckwith Street North), an accessible location with plenty of parking available. Ticket holders can redeem their swag bags and pick up the official Art Walk map between 10:00 AM and NOON.

NEW THIS YEAR — bring the kids!

Join us outside The Craft Witch and bring along a pair of old (or new!) children’s sneakers. Students from SFDCI Arts program will help children transform their shoes into unique pieces of wearable art.

Celebrate local creativity, explore downtown, and immerse yourself in a full day of art, music, culture, and community at The Big Art Walk 2026.
