- **Event Description**: I have come to realize that here in Johnston County alone, we have several individuals facing homelessness. Actually, the number seems to be increasing every day. One of the first things I notice that they have in common are bookbags. I always think to myself, that bookbag is literally their whole life. Everything they own being carried around all day long. Imagine the heaviness :( This event is to bring awareness to homelessness but also help some of the organizations that are helping the unsheltered population.  We may not be giving them shelter, BUT we have obeyed the greatest commandment, LOVE! As we assemble together, we are giving them hope. Hope to know that someone cares! Let's Walk!!!!!
