The Town fully intends on (and has started already) conducting their due diligence regarding this subject, which has been an increasingly hot topic across the nation in recent years. 

The point of this is to protect the town because:
-These facilities are unregulated.
-The long term health and environmental effects are largely unknown.
-Countless short-term negative impacts to quality of life have been reported.
-Municipalities nationwide are fighting facility construction and have also enacted bans, pauses, and moratoria. 
-We want to be proactive, not reactive.
