Participants will also learn how to harvest winter scion wood from their favorite varieties to reduce costs and expand summer grafting opportunities.May 23 – Polyculture &amp; Understory Development WorkshopCreate a thriving orchard ecosystem by attracting predatory insects, protecting beneficial bugs, and cultivating biodiversity beneath your fruit trees.June 27th - Layering &amp; Softwood Cuttings WorkshopLearn uncommon propagation methods and explore common cloning methods to multiply your harvest! You can't compare apples to oranges; each plant has specific needs.August 15th - Tree Crop Harvesting WorkshopEfficiently harvesting tree crops such as chestnuts is not as simple and straightforward a process as harvesting smaller annual plants like tomatoes.
