In this newest installment, the Rilari are scattered as the Usurper’s power spreads across the continents. Natharr, the Guardian of Maarihk, Ellis the Elder, and the remaining Knights of Ril struggle to preserve what peace remains, while Nathan endures brutal mentorship in his pursuit of vengeance — forcing him to confront how far he is willing to go, and at what cost.

The New Blood Saga includes Crown Prince, Order of Light, Demon Seed, Rilari, and Vengeance Borne, with two final volumes (Dark Guard and Guardian) in development. Kilpack is also the author of the award-winning Pale Face and the Battle Calm Cycle military science-fiction trilogy.
