On Saturday of Labour Day weekend (5th) we'll gather to sing, pay tribute, hold ceremony, share food, dance and play music at Smithers Fair Grounds on the MAIN STAGE. Noon~5 P.M. - Folky strum coffeehouse style with tributes and stories between sets. Our Papa, Dave Walford will lead a communal ceremony amidst the afternoon Folky strum session somewhere. Camping is welcome in designated areas (Midway mostly, quite limited 4-H camping.) $5 per person, $10 for campers/vehicles over 20โ€™ (this is so that we can get around licensing). Please do not imbibe & drive. NO OPEN ALCOHOL IN PERFORMANCE AREA! NO CAMPFIRES IN CAMPING! However you may have propane fireplace/firepit if you have a fire extinguisher on hand. Nighttime campfire jam at the BVFMS building & acoustic stage jam to send off the night. This event has been rated PG. Anyone who is not MATURE enough to follow instructions. May find their privileges RESTRICTED. This may include eviction. We will also have some amazing Janet MERCH for sale at the event as well as at Mountain Eagle Books. As we have had to be closed for most of the month of July while we navigate red tape and various hoops to jump. Hopefully some of it even before this gathering! This is helpful for us as a family to cover some very sudden and unexpected expenses.
