- **Event Description**: This hike is a fairly easy hike that follows the ridge of call lake and then along call lake itself. There's a bench   on the ridge that over looks the lake, Hudson Bay Mountain and the telkwa range. 

The parking lot is at the end of Mountain View Road. Just watch out for pot holes at the end of the road, they are pretty gnarly! 

What to bring and expect! 
Bears! if you have bear spray please bring it! If not I'd definitely look into getting some for your own hikes and adventures! Bear spray can be found at Local Supply Company and Canadian Tire. Bear bells can be found at these locations as well as Aquabatics! 
Bugs!!! These mosquitos will find you and haul you off if you're not careful ? I'd bring bug spray of your own preference to avoid being carried away. 
Bring a water bottle! We are doing an afternoon hike so the weather (hopefully) will be warm/hot which also means dress accordingly! Hats/sunglasses/sunscreen to prevent heatstroke and sunburns! 
Kids are welcome! We did this hike in 2 hours leisure time, however if kids are coming expect to add another hour on just in case. 
Bring a snack or two (or if you have kids 3 snacks ? mine would be insulted if i just brought a granola bar for them) along  sinces theres a bench at the top of the last ridge.A perfect break before finishing the loop. 

To keep kids engaged or occupied I can bring a outdoor scavenger hunt, bubbles and/or craft. 
Dogs are welcome but they need to be leashed and people/kid/dog friendly!
