This is a safe and friendly support group to connect with other local mothers, get out in a beautiful green space and improve wellbeing! In addition you can access support with feeding your baby.
The walks are led by volunteer Vanessa and we meet weekly on Thursdays1.30-2.30pm in Warley Woods. Vanessa is a trained infant feeding peer supporter and can offer support on breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding and introducing solids.
We meet by the Abbey Road Gate at 1.30pm (see maps below). If the weather is against us we will contact you before by text and email.
In order to be covid-secure the group is limited to 10 adults and we remain socially distanced during the meet up. Feel free to wear a mask if you would like. We take your contact details for contact tracing purposes.
The toilets and baby changing facilities in the pavilion are currently closed. There are a number of solidly surfaced paths suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, and a children's play area.
- please only attend one walk per week so that we can keep everyone safe and make sure everyone gets a place!
- please stay local to your area
- if you are showing any symptoms (temperature, loss of taste of smell, persistent cough) please do not attend the session
