You'll add a light, design and 3D print your own custom part, wire up a sensor and servo motor, then plug in a micro:bit and write code to bring it all to life.Part design, part engineering, part coding, and totally YOU!Programme #2: Electric Bicycle (For Ages 11-14)Build an electric bicycle. Electric bicycles are becoming more and more popular as a sustainable mode of transport. But how do they work? Learn about bicycle construction and mechanics by building a 1/4 size model. Add a motor to one wheel and control it using a Raspberry Pi Pico and Python code. Add sensors to make the bike move when you pedal and a display to ensure your bike operates legally!Note for all workshops: Attendees will only be permitted to undertake any drilling & soldering after a health & safety induction and under close one-to-one supervision from an experienced practitioner.
