QI GONG: Flow for the Spring Equinox

The equinox occurs twice a year and is a powerful day to supercharge your energy. At this time, day and night are the same length, which means that Yin and Yang are in perfect balance. Balance is special. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, health is achieved when Yin and Yang are in balance. Nature is always moving towards balance, called homeostasis. Every day is a process of adapting from morning to night, winter to summer, emotion to emotion. So, let's honor the life force energy (Qi) of this special day and balance our energy with the Qigong Flow for the Spring Equinox!

This flow focuses the balancing yin (earth) and yang (heaven), three dantian and charging the central meridian.

We will end class with some yin yoga poses to open the side body, which will support the liver and gallbladder.
