- **Event Description**: The Summer threshold is the Motherhood threshold. This threshold is about the summer phase of life, regardless of what age a woman is, and regardless of whether she has children or not. 

This is not only about mothering children. It is about creation, responsibility, fertility in its many forms, and the ways we have carried, held or longed for life.
The invitation is to consciously acknowledge what this threshold has meant in your own life.

Across 2026, we will follow the arc of women’s living initiations and ceremonies for the different stages of life, restoring the ancient practice of marking and honouring these thresholds. Much of this support has been lost, yet women continue to cross these transitions, often without recognition, context, or holding. This work brings that back.

This full-day Women’s Wisdom Retreat offers spacious time to step out of everyday life and into a nourishing field of connection, reflection, and embodied presence. Co-facilitated with Veronica, the day weaves together women’s wisdom teachings and gentle practices. (Sometimes aspects of the day are spent out in nature).

We will explore the innate wisdom held within women’s bodies and lives, with space to honour the phases and transitions we move through across a lifetime. The day may include simple ceremony, quiet ritual moments, and opportunities to reconnect with self, nature, and community.

This April workshop is a beautiful precursor to the deeper integration work around womenhood and motherhood we will be doing in May.
