Activities will run from Friday, 17th April to Sunday, 19th April 2026 between The Benwiskin Centre and the Gleniff Barytes Millsite.

The programme of events will include Talks, Walks, Dance, Art, Tai Chi, Yoga etc.  Full details below.


PROGRAMME


FRIDAY 17TH APRIL 2026
•	6:30 - 8:00pm
          Opening Event at The Benwiskin Centre (Free)
          Community Tree Planting
          Talk, Music, Timeline Pictures with Finger Foods and Drinks


SATURDAY 18TH APRIL 2026
•	9:30am - 10:15am 
        Yoga Taster with Pernille Burns at The Benwiskin Centre (Free)

•	11:00am - 12:30pm 
        Movement and Music at the Gleniff Mill Site 
        Tickets €22 at WILD: https://damhsa.offeringtree.com 

•	2:00pm - 3:30pm 
        Nature Workshop (including Moth Trap) at The Benwiskin    
        Centre with Michael Bell followed by walk at the Gleniff Mill 
        Site
        Tickets €5 on the door

•	8:30pm - 11:30pm 
        Social Dance with Country Traditions at The Benwiskin Centre
        Tickets €10 on the door
        Supper Served


SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2026
•	9:30am - 10:15am 
        Tai Chi Taster with Philip Scanlon at The Benwiskin Centre (Free)

•	10:00am - 11:30am 
        Art Taster at the Gleniff Mill Site with Aideen Connolly (Free) 
        Children (accompanied) and Adults welcome

•	11:00am - 12:30pm 
        A Glimpse of Ballintrillick: Social and Mining History with Gerry
        Foley at Benwiskin Centre followed by walk at the Gleniff Mill Site (Free)

•	1:00 - 2:00pm 
        Ceremony to Remember at The Benwiskin Centre (Free)
        Time Capsule and Unveiling Bench of Remembrance
