Home Youth Liaison's -Young Parents Support Programme presents Paediatriac Home Safety Workshop.

This workshop is delivered over 2 days. Children are welcome to attend with parents.

What can you expect?

We focus on prevention while being mindful not to wrap our babies or kids in cotton wool. Risky play is important. How to deal with common accidents, falls, burns, scalds,and also looking at poisonings etc. Understanding and how to deal with febrile convulsions, meningitis, and allergies. Understanding the difference between gagging and choking, what to do, and when to act. Demonstration on cpr and choking. How to make that emergency call.
