Join us for an evening of drumming, community and connection at the new Heron Drums Shamanic Drumming Circle in Drumkeeran, County Leitrim.

Jonathan has been holding drumming circles for more than fifteen years, bringing people together through the sacred rhythms of the drum. Whether you're completely new to shamanic drumming or have years of experience, these evenings are simply an opportunity to come together, slow down, and enjoy drumming in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The circle is an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life, slow down, and ground ourselves through the rhythm of the drum. Together we reconnect with the land, enjoy the experience of drumming in community, and spend an evening sharing rhythm in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

We'll drum together, learn from one another, and simply enjoy spending time around the drum. Some evenings may also include meditation or shamanic journeying, woven naturally into the evening.

Everyone is welcome
If you're new to drumming, there'll always be plenty of guidance to help you settle in and find your rhythm. If you've been drumming for years, we hope you'll enjoy sharing the evening with a growing local community of drummers.

🥁Bring your Drum, or borrow one of ours.
We'll have shamanic drums available to borrow, in case you don't have one yourself. If you already have a shamanic drum, bodhrán, rattle or another frame drum, please do bring it along.

Practical information   
🗓 When: Last Tuesday of each month (with a couple of exceptions)
🕖 Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Please arrive between 7.30pm and 8.00pm . We'll aim to begin at 8.00pm , so arriving before we start helps us settle into the evening together.
📌 Where: Heron Drums, Drumkeeran Enterprise Centre, Drumkeeran, Co. Leitrim
💶 Cost: The cost for the evening is €10 per person
🎟 Advance booking is appreciated, but spaces may also be available on the night.
🪑Seating: I'll have a number of chairs available, but if you prefer sitting on the floor, you're very welcome to bring a meditation cushion or blanket to make yourself comfortable.
