Schedule: The Escalation league will run for 3 Tiers of Play. Each Tier will last for 3 weeks.
The cost to play in the Warhammer 40k Escalation League is $30.
The Official start of the Escalation League will be 8/3/25
Tier 1:
Point Level: 1,000
Suggested Missions: Chapter Approved: 2025-26 Mission Deck
Dates: 8/3/25, 8/10/25, 8/17/25
Tier 2:
Point Level: 1,500
Suggested Missions: Chapter Approved: 2025-26 Mission Deck
Dates: 8/24/25, 8/31/25, 9/7/25
Tier 3:
Point Level: 2,000
Suggested Missions: Chapter Approved: 2025-26 Mission Deck
Dates: 9/14/25, 9/21/25, 9/28/25
How to Participate: When you sign up for the league you will pay your entry and the employee and/or event organizer will take down your name.
How to win: Starting on 8/3/25 there will be three weekly goals for each player, each goal will get the player a raffle ticket, at the end of the league we will pull raffle tickets to see which players win prizes for the league.
Each goal grants a player 1 raffle ticket per week, those goals are as follows:
*Show up and check in on league day (Sunday).
*Play a league game against an opponent.
*Play a league game against a different opponent.
You may play a league game at any point in the week, just remember to report the game to the employee there, make sure to mention who won, who lost, and the total score for both players.
Each tier is 3 weeks so 3 games, If a player misses a week they can play a catch up game at any point during the tier.
Prizing:
Raffle: There will be multiple prizes and each player has a chance to win from the prize pool. New player or Seasoned Pro as long as you are participating in the league each week you can still win the biggest and best prizes! Number of prizes depends on the number of entries. Raffle will be drawn at the end of the last day of the League with prizing handed out immediately after. Everyone will recieve particpation prizes from the OP kit on the 1st day of the event.
Ex: 10 players at 30$ ea for entry would create a prize pool of 300$ in store credit/op kit/warhammer product/etc.
Raffle as a prize system incentivizes cool list building, playing, and learning as much of the game as possible as the difference between an undefeated and winless player is just a small # of raffle tickets.
Implementing Crusade: (Optional)
Suggested Crusade Book: Armageddon and Core Rulebook
Crusade is a very fun, rewarding, and exciting way to play Warhammer 40k. However, it does bring a lot of bookkeeping. Some players will love this, others won't, which is why you want to make it Optional. Before a game the players can decide to use their Crusade Rules or not. Crusade is at its best when the players have played the same amount of games and had the same opportunities.
Example: A player's crusading will be getting their weekly game in and acquiring their pluses and minuses. Crusade players can play crusade missions instead of the Mission Deck or in addition to the Mission Deck. Both players involved in a Crusade Game can witness the crusade rules gained by each other during a game. Again, with Crusade book keeping and note taking is Key.
