Wellcome to a communal gathering to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
I will guide you in a shared grief ritual to connect to our roots and the wisdom of the nurturing, preserving and transformative power of the the Earth. You will learn to ritualize and express the often overlooked feelings of grief ans loss as a benevolent and natural part of life. The losses and hurts that define life on Earth, plainly because of impermanence, can be cyclically tended to and let go of. They are useful and needed, and serve as dormant seeds that transform and streghten our mind and our being. They carry within them a powerful resilience and an undeniable love for life, and the will to live. The seeds remain silent and dormant under the snow and ice of Winter, and germinate and grow both upwards and downwards, when the light, warmth, and the waters of Spring awaken their potential and power.
We will engage in a meditation to learn how to connect to the memory and wisdom of the minerals, crystals and stones, the very bones of the Earth, as the most permanent forms of organized matter on this planet. You will learn how to use these silent witnesess to develop your intuition and contact with nature, for your own growth and self-development.
We will end with an offering to our ancestors and nature, and share a spiritual feast that we co-create together. Each participant needs to bring some food to a shared table.
We will be mostly inside, but will have to be outside for a part of the process. Bring warm clothes.
I will serve tea, some fruits and some snacks.
