- **Event Description**: Join us for our, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, 4th Annual Veterans Day Outreach event at the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge from 10am to 1pm, followed by LIVE Music from some AWESOME Local Veterans and fellow Patriots.  We are honored to be partnering with the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge once again this year and to help support their Veterans Committee.  We will have a few Veterans organizations and some local non-profits on hand to discuss their services and programs for Veterans and their family members.  There will be a FREE hot dog lunch, with soft drink and popcorn / chips for ALL VETERANS and, for guests, for a small donation of your choice.  We are excited to welcome back Shannon Libby and her team at Main Attraction Hair & Body Works for FREE HAIRCUTS to VETERANS.  

We will have confirmed that Patrick's Recruitment For Peace, Somerset Public Health, members of the Guitars 4 Vets Bangor, Story Teller Guitars and more will be in attendance.  A 50/50 Raffle, a Silent Raffle of some AMAZING ITEMS, such as Military memorabilia, hand crafted wood products, and more will be featured this year like we have done in a previous event. ALL PROCEEDS will go the Skowhegan Madison Elks Lodge VETERANS COMMITTEE, to be dispersed out to many local and deserving Veterans Organizations.  

If you would like to volunteer or if your organization would like to have a table or booth or donate a large ticket item for the raffle auction, please reach out to us on Messenger or email at musicformilitary@gmail.com.  We will update the event page with the organizations participating in this event and any additional news. 

As you know, we have a very strong connection the VA at Togus. We are hoping to securing some representatives from the VA, however, due to the Government Shutdown it may not be feasible this year.  Nonetheless, we will make sure this event provides top notch support and resources to our local Veterans in the Mid to Upper Kennebec Valley area.  Thank you ALL for your Support of VETERANS.
