Со проектот Стопен град, Игор Сековски го продолжува своето истражување на градот како жив, чувствителен и нестабилен организам. По серијата дела посветени на урбаните трансформации, овој пат фокусот е насочен кон климатските промени и нивното влијание врз материјалната и човечката кревкост.
Серијата парафински објекти го претставува градот во состојба на топење – како метафора на
архитектонскиот поредок под притисок на топлина, загадување и ентропија. Парафинот, материјал што реагира на температурата, го воведува климатскиот фактор како коавтор на формата, каде што уметноста станува еколошка соработка меѓу човекот, материјата и околината.
Стопените структури асоцираат на надреални урбани пејзажи во кои границите меѓу стабилност
и распад, реалност и имагинација, стануваат флуидни. Градот се појавува како „психогеографија на нестабилност“, при што топлината не е само физички, туку и психолошки и социјален симптом.
Изложбената поставка, со „левитирачки“ парафински форми и нивните сенковни проекции, создава впечаток на урбана фрагментација и климатска халуцинација – град во состојба на распаѓање, кој истовремено го задржува сеќавањето на сопствената стабилност.
„Стопен град“ ја претвора уметноста во лабораторија на топлината и кревкоста, прикажувајќи го топењето како физички и емоционален процес. Концептот на „урбана топлинска имагинација“ го реосмислува градот како динамичен екосистем што постојано се менува под влијание на климатските сили.
Проектот не прикажува крај, туку трансформација – град што се претопува, но не исчезнува. Така,
Сековски го поканува гледачот да ја замисли иднината на урбаното пред да се стопи реалноста
што ја познаваме.

Melted City:
Urban heated imagination and material fragility

The artist Igor Sekovski continues to explore the city as a living organism, sensitive and precarious,
specifically now with the project “Melted City”. Following the series of pieces dedicated to urban transformations, this time around he focuses on climate change and its impact on the human and material fragility.
The series of paraffin objects depict the city in a state of melting – a metaphor for the architectural
order when faced with the pressure of heat, pollution and entropy. The paraffin, a material that reacts
exposed to temperature, introduces the climate factor as a co-author of form, where art becomes an
ecological collaboration between man, matter and the environment.
The melted structures are reminiscent of surreal urban landscapes where the line between stability and devastation, reality and imagination becomes fluid. The city appears as a “psycho-geography instability”, where the heat isn’t just a physical, but a psychological and social symptom.
The exhibited collection, which radiates with its “levitating” paraffin forms and their shadowy projections creates an impression of urban fragmentation and climate hallucination – a city, melting in destruction while simultaneously retains the memory of its own stability.
“Melted City” transforms art into a laboratory of heat and fragility, depicting the process of melting as a
physical and emotional process. The concept of “urban heated imagination” reconceptualises the city as a dynamic ecosystem that is constantly changing under the watchful eye and pressure of climate forces.
The project does not signal the end – it rather shows a transformation, a city that melts down but
does not disappear. Sekovski cordially invites the observer to contemplate the future of the urban
environment before our reality melts down in front of our very eyes.
