Have you ever looked up at a vast, starry sky and wished you could photograph it? This workshop is your chance. We're heading to Malham, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Sky Reserve, where the lack of light pollution reveals a breathtaking cosmic view.
This session is completely different from our city workshops. It’s a dedicated, hands-on session where you'll learn the specific techniques for astrophotography. I’ll talk you through the magic settings to:
Focus your lens in dark sky environments.
Getting the right exposure to make the stars "pop."
Techniques for planning Milky Way shots
You'll be learning and doing, the exact skills you need to hunt for and capture the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Join our small, friendly group for a safe and unforgettable night under the stars.
Obviously we can promise clear, star-filled night sky, but the skills and settings you’ll learn will ensure you’re get the best night sky shots at every future clear night sky!
Bring: A tripod and a camera with manual controls (especially manual focus and high ISO settings).
