---

? **Featured Speaker: Mariel Bloom**
Founder of **3-5-0 Girls**, Air Force Veteran, and Public Historian.

✨ **Lecture:** *Beyond Rosie: The Untold Stories of Women at War*

When many people think about women during **World War II**, a few familiar images come to mind—Rosie the Riveter, the Women’s Air Force Service Pilots, and military nurses. But these well-known figures represent only a small part of the story.

By 1942, women were stepping into groundbreaking roles across the Armed Forces, reshaping military culture and redefining what women’s service looked like. Mariel’s engaging talk will challenge common myths, separate historical fact from pop culture, and explore why these stories still matter today.

---

? **Guest Speaker: Jami Brantley**
Girl Scout Historian and former curator of the **World War II Homefront Museum**.

✨ **Lecture:** *To Serve My Country: Girl Scouts During World War II*

Since their founding in 1912, members of **Girl Scouts of the USA** have promised to “serve their country.” During World War II, that promise came to life in extraordinary ways—from collecting scrap metal to protecting the homefront.

By March 1944, Girl Scouts presented President Roosevelt with a symbolic “check” representing more than **15 million hours of wartime service**, helping support the war effort and opening doors for future generations of girls and women.
