Next, travel by boat with researchers from the UGA Shellfish Research Lab and marine educators from the UGA Aquarium to learn about oyster farms in the Bull River mariculture zone and oyster reef restoration. Along the way, experts will share insights into the vital role oyster reefs play in improving water quality, providing habitat, and mitigating coastal erosion.
