Instructor

Coach Candice "Candy" Hofmann, PhD in Sport Science, brings a unique blend of athletic excellence and scientific expertise to youth soccer development. A former Division I goalkeeper at Syracuse University and State Championship-winning coach at Marcellus High School, Dr. Hofmann has dedicated her career to understanding how young athletes develop and thrive. Her doctoral research focused on youth athletic development and injury prevention, particularly helping kids navigate their growth phases safely and successfully. With her passion for making sports fun and accessible for all kids, Coach Candy creates an environment where players can build confidence, develop skills, and simply enjoy the game.

We have sessions for multiple age ranges from 6-12 years old on Tuesdays & Thursdays in November!

What should participants bring? Please bring shin guards, water bottle, and sneakers or turf shoes, (no cleats, please!)

Is this different from travel or competitive soccer? Yes! This program is specifically designed for kids who want to play soccer in a fun, low-pressure environment without the intensity of competitive leagues.

Can I sign up for just one session? 
This is a 2-week program designed to build skills progressively. The $60 fee covers both sessions for 2 participants.
