- **Event Description**: Catching School Development Program

Catching School is Baseball School CNY’s year-round development program for catchers of all ages and ability levels. Training focuses on building a complete catcher through individualized instruction in receiving, blocking, throwing, fielding, positioning, mobility, strength, and overall understanding of the position.

Catchers progress from foundational skills into more advanced techniques as they develop, including traditional and one-knee-down setups and learning when and how to use different approaches.

The program is designed for long-term, individualized development, allowing each catcher to progress at an appropriate pace based on their age, experience, physical development, and goals.

Distance Training opportunities are also available for catchers who live too far away to train with us consistently in person, providing ongoing instruction, programming, and feedback from Baseball School CNY.
