# Event Details

- **Event Name**: SHUT DOWN CENTRAL PARK DEMO
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm (+01:00)
- **Event Description**: Join us outside the gates of Central Park stadium as we call time on this cruel sport. Central Park is Kent's last remaining greyhound stadium, and one of only 15 remaining in England. Wales and Scotland have both recently announced bans on greyhound racing, but Westminster is dragging its heels. There is no place in our society for this kind of exploitation and abuse, so until our government decides to catch up with the rest of the civilised world, we need to get out on the streets and make our feelings crystal clear.
