In this workshop, we explore examples of poetry and other creative writing that address environmental and climate grief. Students are guided through several writing exercises of their own stories that braid personal experience with grief with the private and collective losses of climate change.Optional materials to bring:Notebook or something to write inPen/pencil/favorite writing implementFor ages 16 and older. Those under age 16 may attend accompanied by an adult.About the Instructor: (She/They) – Brooklyn, NYDina Abdulhadi is a Palestinian writer and ex-scientist from the US South.
