Date: July 31st
Time: 4 - 5 p.m.
Location: Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture
We are thrilled to host multidisciplinary artist Scott Kildall for an evening of interactive performance. Participants in this event will have the opportunity to interact with electronic sensors to capture live soil data that translates into a soundscape.
Join us as an active participant or enthusiastic listener and see what music can be made from the grounds of Pine Meadow Ranch.
All skill levels welcome, no sound composition experience needed.
All materials will be supplied.
About the Instructor:
Scott Kildall creates artwork that transforms hidden data from the natural environment, such as water quality, air quality and plant data into sculptural sound installations and performances. He uses custom electronics to create generative, data-driven experiences with uncertain outcomes.
Cancellation Policy:
There are no refunds offered for workshops for less than $20.
Please submit all cancellation requests in writing to aW5xdWlyaWVzIHwgcm91bmRob3VzZWZvdW5kYXRpb24gISBvcmc=.
