Painting Fabric with Light: A Cyanotype Workshop

Join Us for a Cyanotype Workshop with 2025 PMRCAA Resident Artist Jayne Struble!

Location: Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture

Join PMRCAA Resident Artist, Jayne Struble, for this experimental and dynamic cyanotype printing workshop. Using this light sensitive printmaking technique, participants will have the opportunity to create deep, rich prints on fabric.

Workshop Highlights:

Cyanotype History and Basics: Jayne will guide participants through a brief history of cyanotypes, and introduce the different components of the cyanotype printing process.

Composition and Color: Using different light-sensitive chemicals and compositions, participants of this workshop will create unique and colorful fabric pieces to hang or collage as part of a bigger project.

No skills or experience necessary!

About the Instructor:

Jayne Struble received her MFA from Columbus College of Art & Design in 2014. Her work has been exhibited across the United States from the Cultural Arts Center in Columbus, Ohio to the Charles A. Hartman Gallery in Portland Oregon. Struble is an Assistant Professor at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
