Why the "Strawberry Moon"?
The full moon peaking in June is traditionally known as the Strawberry Moon. The name originates from Native American tribes, particularly the Algonquin, who used it as a marker for the ripening of wild strawberries ready for gathering in North America. While the moon itself might not look like a giant red fruit, catching its warm, summery glow rising right as we wrap up our ride is the perfect way to welcome the season.

The Route & The Plan
We are gathering at Bread & Circus—and we are thrilled to officially celebrate them as our newest Bicycle Benefits sponsor! Show up a little early to hang out on their killer patio, grab a pre-ride bite or drink, and connect with the group.

Our route will take full advantage of the beautiful early-summer twilight, heading out from downtown to cruise the scenic river greenway trails. We’ll loop through some of our favorite local pathways, keeping the pace casual, social, and smooth for everyone.

The Hangout: We will pause at a scenic overlook along the trail to catch a group photo and watch the Strawberry Moon rise over the city.

The Post-Ride Bonus: Because Bread & Circus will be closed by the time we roll back into downtown, we are keeping the evening going right donw the street! We'll be heading to Severance Brewing Co. to extend the night with a post-ride hang on their awesome patio.

Ride Essentials
Lights On: We will be heading back right around dusk, so front and rear lights are highly recommended.

Helmets: Mandatory for all riders.
