CLASS TAUGHT BY: Sallie Tomato Certified Instructor, Jane Barz

FINISHED SIZE: This bag is 13” wide, 13” high, and 3-1/2” deep. The strap drop is 12”.

PATTERN DIFFICULTY: 1 Novice 

Techniques You Will Learn in this class:

Techniques for handling and sewing cork and faux leather, which has unique properties compared to traditional textiles.

Efficient sewing methods designed to complete the bag quickly, perfect for beginners.

Foundational bag-making skills such as assembly, seam finishing, and attaching straps.

This class is designed to help beginners create a trendy, functional bag while getting comfortable with specialty fabrics!

Class Fee: $50 plus kit fee

Your kit includes the pattern and all the hardware you need to create your masterpiece:
Scarlett Bag Pattern
Sew-In Foam & Fusible Woven stabilizer 
(3) 1-1/2" O-Rings and (1) 1/2" Magnetic Snap
Optional: rivits, tassel and handmade label

Fabric Requirements:
½ yard Main Fabric 
¼ yard Contrast Fabric - straps, exterior pocket accents, base, and optional tassel
½ yard Lining
