- **Event Description**: This Live Storytelling event is the kick off to a series of events that will happen once a month dedicated to a love of words. We will have game nights, book rec nights, live storytelling and poetry nights…there is so much you can do to celebrate the love of words!!

This live storytelling event will feature a handful of live storytellers and there will be an open mic portion as well for people to share a short story or poem, or even a song!

The entry fee is $5 and doors open at 6pm for this event.

Winnie’s will be providing drinks for purchase at the event and I heard a rumor they are expanding their cooler drink selection…?

For this event we are looking for 5 featured storytellers, so I need YOU to submit your ideas by Jan 9th ? 

The theme is reinvention, so think of a time when you had to change yourself, your life, for the better. It might have felt worse at first, or was a difficult road…though ultimately was for the better when you look back on it. Did you choose this reinvention or it was thrust upon you? How did you come into more alignment with your truest self?

Once we have the idea submissions, 5 storytellers will be chosen and will have 3 ishhhh weeks to write! Plenty of time! Haha I haven’t worked out the details exactly, though I know we will do a check in to take a look at the story leading up to the event and help with edits if you need.
