Nathan Roche

Crooner psychédélique et cosmique originaire des profondeurs du nord tropical du Queensland australien, Nathan Roche est coincé en France depuis plus de 10 ans. Il est à la tête du cauchemar garage hip/hop spoken word Le Villejuif Underground (Born Bad Records) et du duo noise expérimental paranoïaque CIA Débutante (Siltbreeze). Il a joué des centaines de concerts, de festivals, des salles vides au Portugal aux squats de Belgrade, en passant par des salles combles en Chine. Il a écrit quelques livres, est devenu mannequin pour Céline, a été un petit délinquant marseillais, a joué dans plusieurs courts métrages français, a été déporté dans les déserts du Maroc et vit désormais au sommet d’une montagne dans une maison de hobbit, quelque part entre la frontière franco-italienne, avec son ex-femme.

DUID is the electronic project of Lucien Fraipont, blending playful, free-flowing grooves with melodic experimentation. Inspired by Rei Harakami, Sun Araw, and Aksak Maboul, his music fuses jazz-trained sensibilities with offbeat pop, creating strange, infectious electronic journeys. The name nods to bebop legend Bud Powell.
