- **Event Description**: Children of all ages are invited to be celebrated the Romanian way at a picnic at Rock's Riverside Park on the eve of 1st of June 2026, the International Children's Day! It is free and a great event for the whole family!
It will be food!
It will be cake!
There will be games, song and dance and never-ending love and cheerfulness!! 
Just bring your best smile and a pair of spare clothing to change the wet ones after the children dip into the various natural and not so natural - but fun pools around the place. 
Please ensure the children wear sun hat, sunscreen, mosquito protection and enclosed footwear, to allow them to run in the park. 
If you would like to support our Romanian Language School, please bring a Gold Coin for each member of your family or make a donation. It will be most appreciated!
