Can't decide between Yoga and Pilates? Then try Yogalates, a blend of the two methods that It is an exercise technique that combines the benefits of strength training of Pilates and the flexibility of yoga in one session.
Yogalates concentrates strength in the middle (abdominal area, buttocks and lower back), the body develops harmoniously, stretching muscles, toning the body, improving posture and developing coordination. As it improves breathing, circulation and energy levels, Yogalates speeds up metabolism, so combined with good nutrition, this type of exercise can be used very effectively for weight loss.
Our outdoor session gives you a unique opportunity to move while enjoying the serenity of the sky, warmth of the sun, and sensation of the breeze. So, join us on the mat for a invigorating experience!
What should I bring?
To practice yogalates, all you really need is you. To make your practice more comfortable, we suggest you bring a yoga mat, a towel, water, and sunscreen.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable attire that will stretch with you and allow for a full range of body movements (yoga pants or shorts and a fitted t-shirt or yoga top). Avoid wearing clothing that is too baggy. Typically yogalates is practiced with bare feet.
When should I arrive?
In order to avoid disrupting class (and causing yourself undue stress), plan to arrive on time (5-10 minutes prior to the class start time).
