YMCA of Singapore presents an Outdoor Adventure for nature and adventure lovers of all ages!
Mount Belumut (Gunung Belumut), standing at 1,010 metres (3,314 ft), is located in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It is the second highest mountain in the state of Johor after Mount Ophir (Gunung Ledang). In Malay, Belumut means mossy which maybe contributed by the slippery and slimy stones that abound the mountain or maybe due to the mossy forest which trekker will encounter near the summit.
The trek up the peak of Gunung Belumut may be fairly challenging for first time trekkers. But despite the slippery and challenging trail, the trek can be completed in a day and the view from the peak can be very rewarding especially on a clear fine day.
All proceeds of YMCA Outdoor and Adventure trips goes to support the charitable works of YMCA of Singapore.
*$5 off each, for a group of 4 or more!
