What started as a local initiative has since grown into a global movement involving millions of people across more than 190 countries and territories. In 2023, the United Nations officially recognised World Cleanup Day as an international observance, highlighting the importance of collective environmental action and community participation.In Singapore, Kindred Community serves as the country representative for Let’s Do It World and World Cleanup Day Singapore. Since 2018, Kindred has been mobilising volunteers, community groups, schools, corporations, and partner organisations to take action through cleanups, environmental education, and sustainable lifestyle initiatives.
