2018 will be an exciting year for WISTA Singapore as it marks the 20th year of its establishment in Singapore!
To commemorate the occasion, WISTA Singapore is hosting a one day Conference, followed by a celebratory Dinner, on 10 May 2018.
Delegates will also enjoy a Welcome Cocktail Reception on the day before the Conference, 9 May 2018, held at Flutes located at the National Museum of Singapore.
Held right in the heart of the city, both Flutes and the award-winning Hotel Fort Canning provide fitting settings to the insightful discussions that will take place throughout the event.

What is the Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF)?
Introduced by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF) facilitates the growth of Singapore's maritime cluster by supporting the industry's manpower and business development efforts as well as its drive for productivity improvements.

How to apply for MCF?
(i) Please ensure that you meet the following requirements to qualify:
You are a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
You are an employee sponsored by business entities or organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore;
You must not receive any other form of financial subsidy from another government body for the same course; and
You must attain at least 75% attendance at the course. (This refers to the conference on 10 May 2018)
(ii) If you are eligible for the Maritime Cluster Fund, you can enjoy 50% off your ticket price.
(iii) Please download and complete the application form (here) and submit it to wistasg2018 | gmail ! com
after you purchase your ticket. In the application form please use the Course name: WISTA Singapore Asia Conference 2018 and complete the form with Signature/Business Entity’s Stamp before submitting it.
(iv) The conference organiser (WISTA Singapore) will follow up to request for a bank account number to credit the subsidy into at the end of the event.
(v) WISTA Singapore will submit a consolidated MCF claim form on behalf of all sponsoring companies and self-sponsored individuals. MPA will verify these claims before forwarding the grant payable to WISTA. Once grant is received from MPA, WISTA will disburse to the sponsoring business entities of eligible participants or self-sponsored individuals which may take place a few weeks after the event.
