- **Event Name**: Walk the Talk 2026
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 15 May, 2026 at 07:00 am – Fri, 15 May, 2026 at 08:30 am (+08:00)
- **Event Description**: A morning walk along Singapore's waterfront, where the person beside you can actually open the door you've been standing in front of.About this EventIn 2024, 88 C-suite leaders walked with 200 women along the waterfront at Collyer Quay, and CNA came to cover it. In 2025, we ran it again. The conversations got bolder and the asks got sharper. Past participants called it one of the most valuable mornings of their professional year, not because of who was in the room, but because of what actually happened in those 60 minutes of walking.Walk the Talk is a 90-minute morning where you walk side by side with a senior leader who already knows your name, your background, and your ask, because they were briefed on your profile the night before. The conversation starts with purpose from the first step. This is the third edition. On Friday, May 15, 100 of the most senior male leaders will step in, C-suite executives who run global organisations, venture capital partners who decide where capital flows, and founders who have built and scaled serious companies from the ground up, will walk with up to 300 women along Singapore's waterfront. Every pairing is matched on the woman's specific ask. There are no random pairings, no icebreaker games, and no talking-at-people.The distinction that matters most: this is sponsorship, not mentorship. Mentorship is advice, useful but slow. Sponsorship is action. It is your leader picking up the phone, making an introduction, or putting their name behind yours in a room you're not in yet. That is what Walk the Talk is designed to produce.Tickets are $49. This event is for women only. Male leaders attend by invitation.WHAT MAKES WALK THE TALK DIFFERENTEvery match is built around your ask, not chance. During registration, you state exactly what you need: an introduction, visibility for a project, help with a career transition, or something else entirely. That ask is the basis for your pairing. You are not handed a random conversation partner and told to make the most of it.Your matched leader arrives prepared. The evening before the event, every leader receives the profiles of the women they'll be walking with, including your background, your experience, and what you need from them. They show up already thinking about how to help. This is what makes the conversation move fast and go somewhere real. This is about sponsorship, not mentorship. The two are not the same. Mentors give guidance. Sponsors give access. A sponsor uses their credibility, their contacts, and their standing to move you forward: an introduction made, a name mentioned in the right meeting, a door held open. Walk the Talk is built for sponsorship. The walking format matters. There is no stage here, no podium, no rows of chairs facing a panel. When you walk side by side, hierarchy softens. The conversation becomes more honest and more direct than anything that happens in a conference room. It is a deliberately simple format, and it works. The leader pool in 2026 is the most diverse yet. Corporate C-suite, venture capitalists, and founders are all represented. Whatever your next move looks like, whether a role change, a board seat, a funding conversation, or a pivot, there is a leader in this group who has navigated that terrain and can open a door into it.WHY JOINYou will spend 60 minutes walking with someone who was specifically matched to your ask and who came prepared to help. That is not something you can replicate at a conference or a networking dinner. If your ask is an introduction to a specific type of leader, a company, or a sector, you will leave with a name, a warm handoff, or a plan to get there, not a vague "I'll keep you in mind."If you are trying to move into a new role, pivot industries, or re-enter after a break, your matched leader has seen it done and can tell you what actually works and who can help make it happen faster. If what you need is visibility, for your work, for a promotion, for a board opportunity, your matched leader can be the person who says your name in rooms that matter. That kind of advocacy does not come from a general networking event. The match only works as well as your ask. The women who walk away with something concrete are the ones who came with a specific, honest request. The registration process is designed to help you get there.WHO SHOULD ATTENDWalk the Talk is for women who are ready to ask, and ready to be specific about it.She might be a corporate professional in her mid-career, clear on where she wants to go but missing the one connection that would move her there faster. She might be a senior leader who has done the hard work and now needs the kind of strategic visibility that doesn't come from working harder. She might be an early-career woman who has spent years being told to build her network, and is tired of that advice producing nothing, because what she actually needs is a sponsor, not another LinkedIn connection. She might be a founder, building something real and needing to be in the room with people who can accelerate what she is doing. What these women have in common: they know what they need, or they're close enough to knowing that one good conversation would crystallise it. They are not waiting to be discovered. They are ready to ask.If you are still figuring out whether you deserve to be in the room, come anyway. The clarity often arrives in the walk itself. But if you are planning to pitch products, recruit staff, or raise a round from a matched leader, Walk the Talk will not serve you well. Walk the Talk works because everyone in it respects what it is.TERMS & CONDITIONSNo Solicitation PolicyWalk the Talk is a career sponsorship event. Recruiting, pitching, and fundraising have no place here.By registering and attending, you agree to the following:No job applications. The format is simple: no stage, no speeches, no panels. Just a direct conversation with someone who was selected specifically for your ask. This is the third edition. The first was held in 2024 with 88 C-suite leaders and 200 women, and was featured on CNA's Money Mind. The 2025 edition ran again and grew from there. In 2026, the event expands to 100 leaders and up to 300 women, with a leader pool that includes corporate executives, VCs, and founders.Tickets are $49. The event is for women only. Male leaders attend by invitation and are not ticketed. There is no virtual option. All pairings are made by the organising team based on each woman's stated ask, and no one is randomly assigned a partner.Q2: Where do we meet? The event is held at The Clifford Pier, 80 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049326, within the Fullerton Bay Hotel complex, right on the water.Getting there:· MRT: Raffles Place Station (EW/NS Line), Exit H, approximately 8 minutes on foot along the waterfront. Downtown MRT Station (DT Line), Exit A, approximately 7 minutes on foot.· Grab: Drop off at the Fullerton Bay Hotel entrance, 80 Collyer Quay.· Parking: Limited paid parking at Clifford Centre or One Fullerton. Please arrive by 6:50 AM so you have time to check in and settle before the walk begins at 7:30 AM. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The waterfront is beautiful at that hour but can be breezy, so dress for it.Q3: What happens between registration and event day? After registration closes, the organising team reviews every participant's profile and ask to build the pairings. Each woman is matched with a leader based on her specific request: what she needs, who she needs access to, and the industry or type of connection that would be most useful. No pairings are random. The evening before the event, each leader receives the profiles of the women they will walk with. They arrive the next morning already knowing your background and what you've asked for. This is what sets Walk the Talk apart from most networking: the conversation doesn't start from scratch. You will receive a confirmation email ahead of event day with the details you need. Use the time between registration and the event to sharpen your ask. Think about what one action from one senior person could change for you in the next 12 months, and be ready to say it clearly.Q4: How do I check in on event day?Arrive at The Clifford Pier by 6:50 AM. The registration table will be clearly marked, and a member of the organising team will confirm your registration and direct you to where you need to be before the walk starts. If you have any questions or issues on the day, look for someone in the Lean In, ELEVATE, or She Loves Data team — we will be on-site and easy to find. Come dressed for an outdoor walk and bring water if you like.Q5: How does the walk unfold?Registration opens at 7:00 AM. This is when you'll meet your walking partner, and you'll have around 30 minutes together before the walk to introduce yourselves and orient the conversation. At 7:30 AM, the walk begins along Collyer Quay. You'll spend 60 minutes walking with your matched leader, and potentially one or two other women in your group. This is your time. Your leader already knows what you're there for, so you don't need to spend the first ten minutes explaining your CV. Get to what matters.Come prepared to lead your side of the conversation. Sponsorship requires you to articulate the ask clearly and to trust that the person beside you is there to help. Be direct, be honest, and be specific. At 8:30 AM, the walk wraps up. The optional open networking session runs until 9:00 AM, a chance to meet other participants and leaders from the broader group before you head into the rest of your Friday.Q6: What happens after the walk ends? Before you part ways with your walking partner, exchange contact details. Then follow up within 24 to 48 hours. A short, specific message referencing what you discussed is far more effective than a generic LinkedIn request.Sponsorship is a relationship that requires both sides to show up. The leaders who take part in Walk the Talk are not here because they have to be. They choose to come because they want to open doors. Make it easy for them by following through. Send the email. Make the introduction request. Do what you said you would do.The walk is one morning. What you do with it after is up to you.Q7: What makes a strong ask?During registration, you'll be asked to choose the type of support you need from a list, then articulate your ask in two to three sentences: who or what you need access to, and why that specific thing will move you forward. The women who leave Walk the Talk with a concrete outcome are the ones who came with a concrete ask. Here is what that looks like in practice:Strong ask (introduction): "I'm moving from a regional finance director role into a Group CFO position. I'm looking to be introduced to a CFO or board member in a mid-size listed company, someone who can speak candidly about what the transition requires and who might consider me when they next have a need or know of one."Strong ask (visibility): "I'm leading a high-profile digital transformation programme at my organisation and I'd like help getting visibility for it at the board level. A recommendation from someone credible in the enterprise tech space, in writing or in conversation with my CEO, would make a significant difference to how this initiative is recognised."Strong ask (founder): "I'm running a B2B SaaS company serving mid-market HR teams, currently at Series A stage. I'm looking to be connected to a VC or angel investor with a portfolio in the HR tech or future-of-work space who could either invest or open that conversation."A weak ask sounds like this: "I'm looking to grow my network and explore opportunities in leadership." This is too vague to match well and too general to act on. A leader cannot open a door if they don't know which door you're standing in front of. The more specific you are, the stronger the match and the more your walking partner can actually do.Not sure how to formulate your ask? Start here: if one senior person could do one thing to change your career trajectory in the next 12 months, what would that one thing be? That is your ask.Q8: Can I join if I'm a founder or entrepreneur?Yes. The leader pool includes VCs, investors, and experienced founders, so if you are building a company and need the right connections, there is someone in the room who can help.Come with an ask that fits your current stage: a connection to a specific type of investor, an introduction to a potential enterprise client, or advice from someone who has scaled a similar business. The same principles apply: specific, honest, and focused on what one person could actually do for you.Register and tell us where you are. We'll match you from there.Agenda🕑: 07:00 AM - 07:30 AMRegistration & Meet Your Walking Partner🕑: 07:30 AM - 08:30 AMWalk and Converse with Your Matched Leader🕑: 08:30 AM - 09:00 AM[Optional] Open Networking
