Uniquely Cambodian Street Food Fiesta
Kicking off SPRMRKT Cambodia’s gourmet proceedings is Pou Restaurant & Bar led by head chef Mork Mengly, one of Siem Reap’s culinary rising stars known for reimagining rustic Cambodian dining with a fresh sense of adventure.
With the core of his cuisine rooted in street food culture, chef Mengly brings with him a crew of notable Cambodian chefs—chef Tim Pheak (Templation Angkor) and chef Seiha Chomnab (Por Cuisine)—to stage Pou by the River, an outdoor street food event alongside the banks of Singapore River on Friday, 25 January. Get transported onto the vibrant streets of Siem Reap with authentic Khmer roadside snacks and SAMAI rum cocktails concocted by local bartending veteran Din Hassan of Telok Ayer Arts Club.
In the spirit of sustainability, SPRMRKT will be instituting a plastic-free policy for 1 night only – disposable plastic wares will be charged at an additional cost.
Look out for our Cambodian food kiosk that will surely be a bit of a showstopper, created by outdoor event partner, Unearthed Productions!
