Trans Gunung Angsi (825m) Hike
Gunung Angsi is one of the Top 10 mountain to climb in Malaysia according to Tripzilla.
Gunung Angsi (825m) is a good step up in difficulty for those who have climb Gunung Datuk /Gunung Lambak/ Gunung Arong.
Do take note that Gunung Angsi is tougher than Gunung Datuk.
Located 20km from Seremban, the Ulu Bendol Recreational Forest is a popular weekend picnic spot with a proper carpark and basic toilet facilities.
With two known routes up to its summit at 824m, a Trans Gunung Angsi (A-to-B hike) is possible for hikers to truly experience the diversity and similarity of the two trails in a single outing. The shorter, more direct Bukit Putus route has more open views, including a waterfall while Ulu Bendul offers a river trail with two river (shallow) crossings. It also starts 100m lower.
We will be going up via Ulu Bendul 5.5km (3.5hrs) and descend via Bukit Putus 4.5km (2.5hrs).
Facilities: None on the Bukit Putus side but there are toilets on the Ulu Bendul side.
