Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society (THKMC) Active Ageing Centres are dedicated to seniors to help foster and build strong connections in the neighbourhood.
Together with THKMC @ Cassia, Curious Thoughts Giving is hosting a StoryTime programme to increase social cohesion between generations. Join us to read to the Elderly and to chat with them! In this session, you will read a short book (your choice of book), and interact with the seniors. There will also be a table games, group games such as 'Pass the Parcel' and 'The Price is Right,' subsequently ending the session with a bento lunch! 🙂

0930hrs: Arrival of Volunteers
0930 - 0940hrs: Briefing for volunteers
0940 - 1000hrs: Welcome of elderly and smalltalk
1000 - 1025hrs: Table games (Jenga, 5 Stones, Pickup Sticks will be provided)
1025 - 1040hrs: Storytime Interactions
1040 - 1105hrs: Pass the Parcel
1105 - 1115hrs: Sing-a-long
1115 - 1135hrs: Interactive game 'Price is Right'
1135 - 1215hrs: Lunch (volunteers will eat with elderly)
1215hrs: Mass photo taking session
1215hrs: End of programme
