Principles 3B - Weekly Course for Ages 13 - 18
DATA STRUCTURES (BRIDGE)
Prerequisites: Principles 3
This course aims to solidify students' understanding and enhance their confidence in building more complex and detailed programs, to better prepare them for object-oriented programming in Principles 4.
The course focuses on application and extension of the concepts learnt in Principles 3, namely using data structures (lists and dictionaries, in Python) to solve a variety of problems. The activities span a range of domains, including:
Number data manipulation
Object manipulation and animation using Python's turtle graphics module
In addition, through these exercises they will be exposed to new ideas in programming including machine learning, sorting, and physics simulations.
This is a 4-lesson course. Lessons will be conducted every Sunday, 17 Jun - 8 Jul 2018, 4:30pm - 6:30pm, at our Marine Parade Campus (#03-04 Parkway Centre).
**Do note that we require a minimum of 2 Code Campers to start a class. You will be fully refunded if the class minimum is not fulfilled.
