1. Singapore Night Festival
This festival is held in the Bras Basah and it will transport visitors to a
world of nostalgia and childhood memories. The
Singapore Night Festival
is happening in August celebrating its 15th edition with the theme "Art of
Play." The fest highlights include "Wonder World – The Machine of
Nostalgia," where you can enjoy amusement park rides. With that old-school
game stalls and classic treats of the 1950s will be something special. The
festival will also have 10 interactive light installations that have a giant
glowing paper airplane and a "Disco Bus" perfect for snapping. Making it a
must-visit celebration of art, culture and entertainment.
2. Mid-Autumn Festival
This festival is something different and it features the sharing of
mooncakes and the lighting of colorful lanterns. The
Mid-Autumn Festival
also known as the Mooncake Festival is happening in September marking the
end of the autumn harvest and symbolizing family unity. In Singapore,
Chinatown becomes a hub of activity with illuminated sculptures, lantern
parades, and cultural performances, including lion dances and moon-viewing
ceremonies. Celebrated widely across Asia, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time
for family, reflection, and cultural heritage.
3. Neon Lights
Bugis precinct, along with projection mapping on iconic buildings like the
Peranakan Museum and CHIJMES. The Singapore
Night Festival
will be happening from August and it will embrace the theme "Art of Play,"
featuring 10 interactive light installations across the Bras Basah. Earlier
in the year, the Light to Night Festival will take place from January 19 to
February 8, 2024, at the National Gallery Singapore, showcasing visual arts
through LED and neon bubble shows, making these festivals key highlights for
those who enjoy vibrant, neon-lit art displays in Singapore.
4. It's The Ship
The 2023 edition took place on the Genting Dream from November with
spooktastic Halloween-themed decorations and non-stop music, dancing and
socializing.
It's The Ship
is a unique electronic dance music festival held annually on a cruise ship
offering a 3-day, 2-night party experience. Known for its vibrant atmosphere
the festival brings people together, creating lasting bonds and memories.
DJs and artists often describe The Ship as a life-changing experience making
