Advancing Innovation through Human-Centered Design
Advance your mastery of the LUMA System of Innovation through Human-Centered Design
Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Innovation through Human-Centered Design
If you've taken LUMA's introductory workshop, Fundamentals of Human-Centered Design, you can expand your mastery of the LUMA System of Innovation by taking our Advancing Innovation workshop, which offers an intimate, peer-to-peer experience for deeper learning.
Through a mix of coaching and individualized practice sessions, you will sharpen your Human-Centered Design skills in line with your particular goals. The Advancing Innovation workshop will prepare you to:
Spark enthusiasm for innovation within your organization
Plan and apply the LUMA System on various projects
Lead teams to do collaborative work
Help your colleagues grow and develop their own ability to innovate
Customized approach for each group
We tailor Advancing Innovation workshops for each particular group. Day One begins by evaluating the interests, goals and objectives of every participant. Together, we do a deeper exploration of the LUMA System, learn ways to combine Human-Centered Design methods, practice building method sets, and prepare for peer-to-peer practice sessions. On Day Two, you will focus on a track for concentrated growth:
Catalyst Track: Inspiring adoption of the LUMA System
Practitioner Track: Using the LUMA System in daily practice
Facilitator Track: Guiding others in using the LUMA System
Instructor Track: Teaching the LUMA System to others
You'll get a block of time to practice an activity within your track. Out of that work, you'll get feedback and support to carry with you into your next stage of development in applying the LUMA System.
