In this Financial Planning workshop, Elise and Noelle break down what every business owner should know about creating your own benefits, retirement planning, tax deductions, college planning, and building a long-term financial strategy. Clear, practical, and approachable, this workshop gives business owners some tools to make smarter decisions and strengthen their financial foundation.

​Elise and Noelle Casey are sisters, financial professionals, business owners, and musicians dedicated to making financial education approachable for women. Through their work with the national nonprofit, the Association of Financial Educators, they simplify key concepts like saving strategies, tax mitigation, and long-term planning. Their goal is to help women gain confidence and take meaningful control of their financial futures.

​About Gather On Hopmeadow:

​Formed in 2023, Gather on Hopmeadow has quickly become a welcoming space for creativity and connection. Run by artist and owner, Kirsten Hocker, of Modern Twist Macramé, Gather offers community events, birthday parties, and hands-on workshops, while also featuring an artisan market that highlights the talents of local makers. Their mission is to bring people of all ages together—through art classes, healing workshops, and meaningful community experiences—so everyone can find inspiration, connection, and belonging.

​Kirsten holds a BFA in Design from RIT and studied architecture at RPI. After many years creating macramé, she opened Modern Twist Makers in Tariffville, CT in early 2023, later expanding into the larger space now known as Gather on Hopmeadow. There, she teaches macramé and a variety of children’s art classes while showcasing work by local artists. Outside the studio, she enjoys time with her husband, two kids, and their dog—camping, hiking, and practicing yoga.
