Now in its 8th season, Silverton Summer Sounds is a free open-air music series produced by Silverton Creative District. This family-friendly event features libations, food trucks and free live music in Memorial Park. Concerts take place at 6 pm every 2nd Friday of the month from June through September with two high caliber musical acts at each show, including nationally touring artists alongside local opening acts.
JUNE 13: PRESSING STRINGS
Pressing Strings is a critically acclaimed trio from Annapolis, Maryland, known for their genre-blending sound that fuses soul, indie rock, and Americana roots. With a style that’s hard to define but easy to love, the band has built a loyal following through rich songwriting, compelling rhythms, and emotionally charged performances. Over the past decade, they’ve independently released a remarkable catalog of studio work and played stages from Firefly and FloydFest to Brooklyn Bowl and The Caverns — and even a Fast and Furious cast wedding.
