Now in its ninth season, Summer Sounds brings live music, great food, and good company to Memorial Park—just steps from Silverton’s historic downtown. Catch the show at 6 pm on the second Friday of each month, June through September.

This year’s lineup is rooted in place—celebrating the 150th anniversaries of the State of Colorado and San Juan County with a showcase of all-Colorado talent, pairing standout headliners with homegrown opening acts.

HEADLINER: LOS MOCOCHETES
Los Mocochetes (Denver, CO) bring high-energy Chicano funk rooted in cultura, comunidad, and connection. Blending funk, hip-hop, cumbia, reggae, and rock, their sound is bold, dance-driven, and full of meaning—what they call “revolutionary music you can dance to.” With big grooves, powerful horns, and commanding vocals, Los Mocochetes turn every show into a vibrant, joy-filled experience that gets people moving. www.losmocochetes.com

OPENING ACT: ALSUP RACING TEAM
Alsup Racing Team is comprised of core members: Evan Alsup, Kurt Detriech, Ryan Sander, and Mario Letayf. We are a jam band with southwestern roots, we play music we like.

We’re also closing out the season in a big way—join us September 11 & 12 for back-to-back music with our final Summer Sounds show and the Season Finale Concert as part of the Silverton Creates Arts Festival!
